Natalie Gordon, Founder and CEO of Babylist

Natalie Gordon knows how to move fast with meaning. While eight months pregnant, she coded what would become Babylist. Two weeks before giving birth, she launched it.

It wasn’t a startup pitch nor a plan. It was a response to something missing, a registry that reflected how people actually prepare for parenthood.

Today, Babylist is used by more than half of first-time parents in the U.S. It generates over $400 million in annual revenue and has done so on just $50 million in funding. That’s not just efficient. That’s focused.

Natalie will be joining the Beanstalk community and her story speaks to the kind of founder we love: sharp, mission-driven, and quietly relentless.

That’s reflected in how Babylist runs.

The team is lean. The roadmap is disciplined. While competitors chase new features or try to be everything at once, Babylist stays close to what matters, helping parents make smarter, more personal decisions.

The irony is, of course, part of the appeal. The site is full of adorable gadgets and gear. But underneath it all is a ruthless discipline that’s anything but cute.

She’s also become a clear, steady voice for founders and new parents alike. One line she’s known for: “Stop comparing timelines. Your due date is your own.” That mindset shapes how she operates. Less reaction. More conviction.

Natalie’s story is personal, practical, and built on long-view ambition. Babylist didn’t go viral. It grew the way most great companies do — by doing the quiet work consistently well.

Her leadership doesn’t burn fast. It builds. And that’s exactly why we’re glad she’ll be in the room at Beanstalk.
