About this event.

CES is produced annually in Las Vegas by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA). The event spans more than a dozen official venues across Las Vegas, with the Las Vegas Convention Center serving as the primary hub and additional programming hosted at the Venetian Expo, ARIA, and other locations along the Strip. CES 2026 was held in Las Vegas January 6-9, 2026.

The event covers the full consumer technology landscape, including AI, mobility, digital health, sustainability, gaming, content creation, smart home, accessibility, and Web3. Exhibitors range from the largest global technology companies to roughly 1,200 startups exhibiting in Eureka Park. C Space, a dedicated track within CES, focuses on the intersection of marketing, media, advertising, and entertainment, drawing brand-side marketers and agencies alongside the broader tech audience.

CES 2026 drew 148,000+ attendees from 141 countries, territories, and regions, per the CTA. While CES is primarily a consumer-technology event rather than a retail-specific one, retail and DTC brand teams attend to scout product and tech trends, meet hardware and software partners, and connect with retail buyers and platform partners who also attend.

Why brands attend

DTC and retail brands attend CES to scout emerging consumer technology and product trends (AI hardware, wearables, smart home, connected packaging, retail media tech) that affect their roadmaps, and to meet platform, hardware, and retail partners in one location. Marketing and media teams also attend C Space to evaluate ad-tech, content, and creator partners.

Why companies sponsor

Companies sponsor and exhibit at CES to introduce products to a global audience of buyers, media, and partners, secure press coverage during a concentrated news cycle, and hold concentrated business meetings with retailers, distributors, and channel partners across the four event days.
